Beyond Biscotti
Most people know the biscotti sold in coffee shops, but Italian cookies come in many varieties.
Cuccidatti, pignolatti, regina, biscotti and more. Plain, filled with fig or nuts, dusted with sesame seeds, these are “special occasion” delights.
Cathy Harrell will cover three styles of Italian cookies familiar to Italian-Americans in New Orleans, Chicago and New York.
