Emergency Medical Technician-Advanced (EMT-A) Class

Emergency Medical Technician-Advanced (EMT-A), also known as an Advanced EMT (AEMT), is a healthcare professional trained to provide more advanced emergency medical care than an EMT-Basic. EMT-As have additional training in administering intravenous fluids, administering certain medications, and performing more advanced airway management techniques. They work alongside EMT-Basics and paramedics to assess and stabilize patients in emergency situations, and they may also assist in transporting patients to medical facilities for further treatment. EMT-As play a vital role in the pre-hospital care of patients, providing critical interventions to improve patient outcomes before reaching the hospital.
