This course will focus on the importance of cultural diversity and cultural awareness. Students will explore their own cultural heritage and learn how life experiences can shape an individual’s view of the world around them. Topics covered may include awareness about culture, race, gender, politics, and religion. Students may explore current topics and watch movies with a cultural awareness theme. There will be writing assignments on information covered.
